Villa Poggiostelle is a wonderful countryside villa, situated on a small hill near the village of Legri di Calenzano, between Florence and the Mugello area. Completely surrounded by nature, the property enjoys an enchanting dominant position with beautiful views of the valley below.
The whole villa, originally an old farm owned by a noble family, has been completely restored in 2016. It is bordered by an automatic gate and surrounded by a 5-hectare completely fenced estate, in which you can walk among the meadows and woods.
Here you can easily see some pheasants, hares, deer and roe deer.
Within the lovely private garden (1,200 sqm) with green lawn, you will find a huge porch with table, ideal for alfresco dining and relaxing while admiring the panorama with a glass of wine.
Under the veranda there is an elegant rectangular table for 12 people where you can have breakfast or lunch during the hot Tuscan summer.
The outdoor areas are embellished with an irregular-shaped infinity pool (13x5 m - depth from 1.20 m to 1.80 m), entirely clad in Tuscan travertine and equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs and small sofa with seating.
The infinity edge allows you to look out over the valley and enjoy the panorama while you are immersed in the water. Opposite the swimming pool is the front porch of the house, furnished with curtains and elegant sofas for those who want to relax in the shade. Lastly, you can use the outdoor barbecue, ideal for tasty grills with friends.
On the side of the villa there is also a ping pong table, an endless source of fun for guests of all ages, and an amazing private gym! Please note that the owners (with their dog) live in a portion of the villa (that is an apartment with separate entrance and parking).

The villa (500 sqm), spread over 3 floors, can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The recent restoration (2016) has highlighted the pleasant contrast between ancient and modern elements which characterises the property. For example some bedrooms are furnished in a modern style, others in a Florentine and Tuscan style.
All furnishings and amenities are new. The living area is characterized by an antique terracotta tiled floor, while you will find wooden floors on the stairs and in the bedrooms. The ceilings are partly made of beams and terracotta and wood.
Ground floor: On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a wooden peninsula, fully equipped with appliances and accessories (microwave, American coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher).
Following a dining room with a large fireplace, a table for 10/12 people and a flat screen TV. Adjacent to the dining room, there is a living room with a large corner sofa and a flat-screen TV. From the main living room a spiral staircase leads to a lovely cellar. A bathroom with shower and a utility room with washing machine and dryer make the rest of the floor. Going up the stairs you will find a loft, used as reading and relaxation room.
First floor: After the entrance with wooden floor, you will find 5 bedrooms: 4 doubles and 1 twin with two single beds (which can be joined together).
Three bedrooms are equipped with ensuite bathroom while the other two (1 double and 1 twin) have a shared bathroom, ideal for families with children.
Second floor: From the entrance on the first floor a delightful spiral staircase leads to the last double bedroom with a private bathroom and skylight, ideal to admire the starry sky. A total of 3 of the 6 bedrooms can be set either as a twin room (with two single beds) and as a double room (by joining the single beds). Included free Wi-Fi both inside and outside the villa.
All the rooms (both living and sleeping area) are equipped with air conditioning. In all bedrooms there are mosquito screens and docking station to listen to our favorite music. Pets are allowed on request.

Wonderful countryside villa with infinity pool and large garden, situated in a strategic position between Florence and the Mugello area. Recently renovated and furnished in a clever mix of new and old furniture, it represents the ideal accommodation for families with children or groups of friends wishing to spend a relaxing and unforgettable holiday in the green Tuscan countryside. The property has all the modern amenities: satellite TV, docking station, air conditioning, Wi-fi Internet connection.
