"La Smarrita" is an independent house in the hills, inside a large fenced garden with a panoramic view of the Viareggio sea. The house is surrounded by olive trees, roses and bushes of aromatic herbs and Mediterranean scrub and has an above ground pool.
The house is furnished with much taste and charm. It has a large entrance hall with a sofa and a dining table which leads to a large fully equipped independent kitchen. In the kitchen there is a second table for dining and a grill-fireplace for grilling. On the entrance there is a second living room with a sofa bed for two people, a corner with two vintage armchairs and a fireplace. The house has a large bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower.
The house is accessed by a large panoramic patio with sea and lake view, equipped with outdoor sofa and armchairs. Adjacent to the house there is a room open to the garden with table, chairs, hob and barbecue for cooking and dining outside but protected from rain and humidity. In front of the house among the olive trees there are two more outdoor tables and chairs. The above ground pool is located in the highest part of the garden, away from any look like the rest of the property.
The property is accessed via a sliding gate and it is possible to park the cars inside the property. In the last 300 meters, the access road has a dirt road that is easy to follow.
The house offers a spectacular view of the sea of Viareggio, Lake Massaciuccoli, so loved by Giacomo Puccini and on the hills of Versilia. Its location gives guests privacy and relaxation.

Continuing north in a few kilometers you reach other famous places in Versilia, up to Forte dei Marmi (24. 7 km), elegant and exclusive. Inside is the delightful town of Pietrasanta (17. 3 km), a destination for sculptors and artists from all over the world: in summer important art exhibitions and concerts are held there.
