Positive: The house was spacious and well equipped. There were views of the sea but it was quite a long walk.

Negative: We felt we were being watched by the hosts much of the time. Although Eric was friendly to start with there were too many times when we were told we can't use this or mustn't do that. At one point his mother who lived next door actually shouted at us very rudely. We had a slight accident with the pool cover ties which we replaced with identical items and were told they were not correct and needed to be replaced again. This meant that we lost some of our deposit as it the replacement the host insisted on was far more expensive. When a house is let out to holiday makers the host must expect some wear and tear but to be told off because a wine glass was left in one room and a bin in a bathroom hadn't been emptied, was we felt a bit unreasonable. The cost of the rental for the week was high to start with so to lose much of the deposit for very minor things left a bit of a sour taste at the end of what could have been a delightful place to stay.

Summary: A lovely holiday house marred by over zealous hosts.
