Summary: The room itself was fine, but the appliances were clearly old, with some rust showing. The AC unit was dusty, and the refrigerator didn’t get cold at all, it stayed at room temperature even after adjusting the settings. The freezer barely worked either, feeling more like a fridge than an actual freezer. The worst part, though, was the smell. The hallways and elevator had a nasty, lingering stench that hit you right away. It smelled like a mix of mold and whatever’s been absorbed into the stained carpet over time. Because of that rancid smell and the state of the carpets, I couldn’t help but question how clean my room actually was.
