Positive: What a gem! The house is charming inside and out. It is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The highlight has to be the private courtyard that overlooks a perfectly manicured garden and a charming little chapel; great for a glass of wine in the evening, and it felt like our own little paradise. The host made everything effortless: he met us in person, handed over the keys, and gave us a friendly walk-through of the house. Communication before and during the stay was quick and warm. The location doesn't get much better: super secure (gated, quiet, and we felt completely safe at all hours). There was only a 3-minute stroll to an excellent pizzeria and a short walk to shops and cafés. Public transport and sights were also easy to reach. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful base with a personal touch, book this place without hesitation. Already missing that courtyard! Highly, highly recommend.

Negative: One small note for future guests: the house is three stories tall, and there are no handrails on the staircases from the first to second floor or second to third floor. This could be unsafe for small children, elderly guests, or anyone with mobility issues. A simple handrail would make it perfect for everyone.
