Summary: Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Field of Verniere. We were greeted by Stephan and Sabine who thankfully spoke perfect English putting our very poor French to shame! This is a large property and there were times when we almost lost each other! The games room is great fun and amazingly well equipped. A great break from the sun if you can draw yourself away from the pool area which is stunning and just as depicted in the photos. I cannot put into words how stunning the area is and what a beautiful tranquil place it is. Breakfast on the balcony looking across the region and seeing just beautiful countryside is what a relaxing holiday is all about. There is an Inter Marche just a short drive away which has everything you could possibly want with wonderful produce and deli counters. Shops in Lamalou le Bans are easily accessible too within a few minutes. If I had a criticism it would be that the sitting room could be a little more comfortably laid out for the family end of the day get together but that could be because we're used to "snuggling down" in the UK!!! This was our first trip to the South of France, it certainly won't be our last.
