Positive: We visited Juan-les-Pins in February, so the beaches was not the main attraction. At this time of the year it is rather the opportunity to go for longer walks in the Esterel mountains or along the coast, for example near Cap d’Antibes. Or to catch a train to Cannes, Antibes or Nice to visit museums, go shopping and experience various events in a bigger city. The sea view from the apartment and the balcony is magnificent, both on cloudy days and in bright sunshine. The kitchen and the bath rooms are well equipped, and we appreciated that the hosts provided us with tea bags, coffee capsules, tabs for the washing machine and the dishwasher etc.

Negative: We know that ‘one size does not fit all’. We found that the square head pillows in the beds were too big and too hard. A French ‘traversin’ would be a nice alternative for those with that preference. A written instruction to the television would have helped us to make use of all the options.

Summary: Nice apartment - a good base for excursions at Côte d’Azur and the hinterland
