Summary: A really wonderful property; and an excellent place for a large family holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and fantastically equipped. The grounds are wonderful and so spacious, with a great pool.The owners have thought of everything; it’s clearly a much loved family property. We enjoyed the fresh produce from the gardens and the many different areas to enjoy the property, it was really heavenly. The hosts were gracious, informative and generous; meeting us at the property and showing us all around the house amenities, which were really family-friendly. The property is in a great area to visit La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Puy du Fou, O’Gliss park for days out, but we also spent many days at the property and visiting local towns and markets. The surrounding area is beautiful with red squirrels, birds of prey, goats (of course) and horses to see on walks. A truly wonderful holiday; we’d love to come back!
