Positive: We recently stayed in this stunning two-suite apartment to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were blown away. It is clear that the owners really thought about how to provide a luxury experience. Location The apartment's location is perfect—right in the heart of Old Town. We were a comfortable walking distance from the beach, had easy access to public transport, and found it simple to connect to the airport. There are shops nearby if you plan on self-catering (host provided high quality cooking equipment), and plenty of dining options if you would rather dine outside. Apartment Features The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with a luxurious feel throughout. The quality of the furniture and fittings was excellent, creating a comfortable and upscale experience. Each of the bedrooms had its own shower room, complete with large light-up mirrors that had a demist feature. The toilet even included a bidet, which was much appreciated. Towels were of excellent quality. The beds were spacious, stylish and firm, with large pillows. The WiFi connection was fast and there were good connection points for charging devices around the apartment. Suggestions While our stay was overwhelmingly positive, there are a few minor improvements that we felt would make the stay truly elite. A safe or lockbox for valuables would be great. We also found that the bin storage was a bit of a walk from the flat; Displaying a map and some clear instructions regarding cleaning expectations and bin locations would be very helpful. An evacuation plan/map of emergency exits would offer extra peace of mind. Things to note It’s worth mentioning that the apartment is located on the second floor and accessible only by stairs. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it might be something to consider for those with mobility concerns. Another thing we noticed was that the living room, almost level with the ground outside, lacked curtains or blinds.
