Escape to one of the most beautiful destinations in Nelson County Virginia. Southern Comfort Lakeside Cabin Resort is situated on 200 beautiful acres. Our cabins overlook our private lake. The hand hewn logs give the warmth you would expect from a log home we've added modern amenities to make your stay with us memorable. We offer central air, flat screen smart televisions with Hulu, WIFI. The Kitchens are fully equipped with full size stainless appliances including microwave and dishwasher. and all the basics for cooking. The beautiful soapstone counter tops make these kitchens spectacular! We truly want our guests to have an enjoyable experience so no ordinary bathroom would do. Soapstone vanities with vessel sinks an amazing custom tile shower. You choose standard, rainfall, hand held shower heads and multiple body jets use one or all of them at the same time. The cabins all have gas fireplaces and comfortable furnishings. Lets not forget the most important room the bedrooms. Down stairs bedroom has a Queen size bed , upstairs has two queen beds. We have memory foam mattress, soft sheets and blankets so our guest enjoy an incredible night's sleep.

Summary: This is a very lovely cabin in a gorgeous setting. It’s extremely clean, and has everything needed for a small group. Very well located too, with lots of hiking, wineries, and other attractions within an easy drive.
