Positive: This is the house of people who occasionally (probably) live there, so it has a lot of things of theirs around the house, including clothes and photos, books and games. So, that for us gave the apartment character and warmth. Because of that the apartment is not a cold, functional piece of property but a home, decorated with taste, love and care. It is also very close to the beach (short walking distance). We literally felt staying at a friend's house, rather than renting. Also Darius (the agent which manages the property) was really nice, resourceful, understanding and easy to talk to. All in all, great experience.
Negative: Beaulieu sur Mere is an amazing little town on Cote d'Azur but it has little parking lots. It was very difficult to find a parking spot near by, we had to park the car far from the apartment. The town is safe, so no stress about car safety (as in Paris or Milan) but we had to walk a bit to and from the car.
