Light and spacious, La Pervenche is an elegant and comfortable villa with feature non-linear design that will entice both inside and out. Within 1.5km of fashionable Valbonne and just 30 minutes’ drive to the coast, guests will enjoy the privacy this villa affords in an easily accessible location.
Valbonne is just a 5 minute drive from La Pervenche where the main square is both pretty and blessed with bustling cafés and restaurants serving lunch and dinner menus and a welcome drink. The weekly market and plentiful boutiques will bombard your taste buds and delight your senses.
Inside the villa are curved walls and archways that create appealing angular views and a lovely sense of space and proportion. The living room, with cool tiled floors and a feature open fire, leads to a large and well designed kitchen with central island workspace, breakfast bar and wine fridge. There are two double en suite bedrooms on the ground floor and two en suite doubles on the first floor, both with their own balconies affording a little outdoor privacy! The fifth double bedroom is detached from the main house, with external access only, separated by a lawn and close to the pool with its own wet room shower and separate toilet. All the bedrooms benefit from air conditioning which is a blessing in the warmCôte d'Azur climate and one sofa bed is available in one of the double bedrooms to offer a little more flexibility if required. Guests will no doubt enjoy dining outside around the built in barbecue and pizza oven surrounded by tall palms, whilst the rest of the garden has spacious lawns, varied Mediterranean planting, as well as being completely enclosed with an electric gated entrance. Continuing the curved theme, the private pool is kidney shaped with roman steps for easy access.
For those seeking a leisurely day out, the coast at Antibes (18km) and the beach at Juan-les-Pins (18km) are recommended. There are art galleries in Mougins (8km) or you could even opt to create your own perfume at one of the outlets in the home of fine fragrance in Grasse (9km). There's much to do here and it's all fairly close-by, you'll find it hard to leave!
Terraced grounds, low balcony railings and unprotected interior stairs mean that only babies and children over 5 yrs old are advised at this house.
