Casa Lula is a the perfect Tuscany house for two! It is set in the middle of an authentic and historic cobbled village, nestled below a towering castle. Guests can easily walk to the nearby town where there are a number of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the nearby River Arno where you can sunbathe on the riverbanks and take a dip in the cool water.
Casa Lula is set over two floors. It has a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, bedroom and shower room. It can sleep up to 3 guests as there is also a sofa bed. Rooms have been tastefully and sympathetically restored furnished in a traditional Tuscan style. Exposed beams, terracotta floors, soft lighting and warm colours add to the charm. The bathroom is extremely charming, decorated with ancient tiles sourced from an antique Tuscan factory.
Entrance to the house sits beneath a canopy of grape vines. To the front of this Tuscany house for two is a lovely garden. This is set up with tables and chairs, the perfect place to sit on a pleasant summer evening watching the sun set over the Tuscan hills.
This Tuscany house for two is a great base for a holiday in this beautiful region of Italy. There is so much to see and do in the Casentino Valley where the cottage is situated. Some of our favourite places worth a visit nearby include the castles of Poppi and Romena, the church of Pieve di Romena, the Camaldoli Monastery and La Verna Sanctuary. If you enjoy walking, there are some wonderful hikes in the area that take you through some idyllic scenery. And for sports lovers, there are also some fantastic bike rides both in the forest and along the Arno River too.
The location of this Tuscany house for two is also ideal if you want to explore the wider Tuscany and Umbria regions. Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Assisi are all easy day trips from the village. We would also recommend you take time to explore the villages of Anghiari and Bibbiena as well.
Of course, if you prefer to stay closer to home, this Tuscany house for two is also just a 5 minute drive from the charming town of Stia. Alternatively, you can walk here in 20 minutes. Here you should find everything that you could possibly need including a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. The owners of this lovely property also own a restaurant which is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and for lunch on Sunday.
