A beautiful apartment for 7 people, on the 1st and 2nd floors of “Leopoldina”, a traditional Casa Colonica in south-eastern Tuscany. If you are looking to relax in unspoiled countryside, but within easy reach of some of Italy’s most stunning towns, this is the place for you!
With terracotta floors and beamed ceilings, the apartment retains the original charm of the old house. The living/dining room has an open fireplace, in front of this is a dining table and chairs, plus a sofa and flat-screen TV. Elegant tiled stairs lead up to the master bedroom. Through an archway off the living room is an attractive fitted kitchen which is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.
Outdoors, the gardens, both private and communal, have been as carefully considered as the interiors. There is a small loggia balcony, off the living area, with a table and chairs, where guests can enjoy a glass of the fine local wine. The apartment also has its own private garden and pergola area in the main garden for meals al fresco. The shared swimming pool has multiple sun loungers and parasols for guests to relax.

The town of Cortona is well worth a visit. Its Etruscan walls contain medieval houses and Renaissance palaces. There are many excellent restaurants and cafés to suit all budgets.
