This one room apartment for 2 (+1) people is on the 3rd. and top floor of a building with a lift, in which there are also small shops and restaurants and on the edge of the beach in the resort of Marina di Castagneto. This apartment has 32m² and is made up of one room with a double sofa bed, single sofa bed, dining table, kitchen block with a dishwasher, Italian and European coffeemaker, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment. The washing machine is in the bathroom with shower unit.
Due to the climate, stays during the winter months are acceptable. And this apartment lies between 2 others, which means that one larger family could book two or all three flats (in different sizes) and use them as one large flat using the concealed adjoining doors that can then be opened.
The balcony to the west and practically over the beach entices you to sit here in the evening and watch the sun go down.
There is a free beach in front of the house and behind it the promenade - of course it is a pedestrian zone in the summer, and cars are only allowed for loading and unloading. Although it is in the centre, it is still a peaceful location.
The owners offer the possiblity to use their private dunes which are in the northern part of Marina di Castagneto. This 10,000m² strip of coastland is partly a fenced in botanical garden in which plants, flowers and dune vegetation can be found along a didactic path. The aim is to protect and preserve these plants that are partially threatened with extinction. Here you will find natural dunes of up to 10 metres high in which rare plants grow - the plants alternate with the sandy areas, where there are wonderful hollows for sunbathing. The vegetation makes it the most interesting place for children to play in. These sand dunes are a part of the untouched nature that is rigorously protected. On request we offer a guided tour of about an hour, where you will be shown the flora and have it explained. Didactic material is also available. Now the Moscardini family have tables and benches made from drift wood put there for their guests. Water and lights are also provided.
The shown price is for 2 people, a third person pays 70 Euros per week extra on arrival.
