And at 25-minutes, there is an animal reserve worth exploring at Setti Frati Park. For lovers of nature, day trips to Meana Forest, just outside of Orvieto, are a must. Meanwhile, history buffs can take cycling trips to the number of historic towers and castles in the outlying hamlets of Rote Castello, San Vito, Pornello and more. Perugia and Assisi are a convenient 45-minutes drive away. The nearest international airport is San Francesco d’ Assisi, approximately a 40-minute drive from this vacation rental in San Venanzo.
