The domain of Castelnau used to be a farming property which has belonged to the same family since the XVIIth century. The domain has its proper winery which produces high-quality wines (Duché d'Uzès, a protected designation of origin).
It faces the hills of Uzès, and was built among the vineyards, the fields, and the garrigue. It is an ideal place for Nature lovers who seek peace.
All around the domain, you will find hiking and biking trails going through the garrigue.
The house was built during the XVIIth century; it is attached to a mansion and surrounded with plants. A splendid alley of chestnut trees leads to a square courtyard which is surrounded with beautiful century-old cedars in which many birds and squirrels live.
This 10 ha property is situated in the middle of a 70 ha farming land. All the equipments you need to have fun are available: swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball, swings, trapeze, bicycles, trampoline... Many outdoor activities are also available such as table tennis, bocce, or badminton.

Therefore, one or several families can live together but also independently. It is perfect for a family holiday gathering several generations.
