Positive: The “Iglu” had everything we needed to feel comfortable. And the view.. unbeatable and just mesmerising! The outdoor bath filled quickly, the temperature was easy to adjust from cold to hot, and we spent plenty of time in it cooling off! We’re both tall and there was still enough room for the two of us. We had two massages during our stay and the therapists were amazing — professional, well trained and clearly knew what they were doing. Even though the massages were done in our room, they brought everything with them, including pillows, sheets and music, and created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was another highlight. Breakfast was generous, and everything else we tried from the menu — and we tried most of it! — was delicious and beautifully presented. But what made our stay truly exceptional was the staff. Every single person working at the resort during our stay, from warm welcome and farewell by Nabila at reception and the restaurant Uni, Gede and Marbel to the kitchen and housekeeping, was wonderful. Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive and made us feel incredibly well looked after. A very special thank you to the manager Mr Agus, who went out of his way to accommodate all our requests with such understanding and genuine care. And a big, big, big thank you for all the thoughtful extras you and your team arranged for us — the extraordinary anniversary decorations, late checkout, shuttle, Mt Batur tour, and so much more. You consistently went above and beyond anything we expected. You made our stay incredibly special and gave us memories we’ll treasure for a long time. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and already can’t wait to come back! Thank you to the entire Arkaluna team for such a memorable stay. ❤️
Negative: Nothing we didn’t like. However, it would be great to have some bathrobes and shade in the outside area :)
