Summary: What an absolutely delightful, authentic, and incredible stay we had at the Angel House Eco Villa! When we first arrived, 80% of Bali was experiencing a power outage in the evening. The staff was very accommodating and upgraded us to the room on the second floor so that we would be cooler (and nobody was there or checking in for a few days). It made a huge difference while we waited for the power to turn on, which it did around 9 p.m. The ac in the rooms works like a dream! Both rooms were very clean and tidy with modern structure mixed with Balinese architecture that provided a beautiful feeling. The garden is extraordinary and well kept, with mosquito traps that are safe to other insects. Did I also mention they compost? Pretty incredible. Being an eco villa, there were also signs and instructions for conserving waste and energy which really made us feel like we chose the right place. The pool was well maintained and very clean - not to mention an absolute delight when the hot humid Bali weather gets to you! It's also spring fed with very clean water, and speaking of water there are at least two filtered water stations we could fill our bottles up any time with no charge...a real asset in Bali! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and special with Vinna who was so sweet and kind in making our food. On that note, the absolute stellar aspect of Angel House is THE STAFF!
