Whiskey Creek Beach NW has exquisite views of the Straight of Juan De Fuca. This unique camp shelter is situated only a few feet from the beautiful pebble beach with unobstructed views of the Canadian Cascades. *note: You are able to drive up approx. 5 yards from this site to unload, and parking for beach shelter sites(T9-14) are up a hill. No parking at the site. We also have additional waterfront cabins, full hookup RV spaces and tent sites.

This super cool A-Frame shelter is a new addition to our beach front. Bring your own sleeping bag and camping gear, we supply 2 floor mattresses to sleep on (if no pets will be joining you). There is also a picnic table and a fire-pit BBQ as well as access to fresh water. Nearby port-a-potty. The large windows offer beautiful views all day (and night) of the water, Canadian Cascades, stars and wildlife. You will never forget this place!

Located just 25 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay!

Summary: This was the first time I’d stayed in a simple structure like this outside of tent camping. These A-frame structures are beautifully located right on the beach front. Sunset and ocean/inlet views ABOUND! I got there too late to explore the coastline but could see others adventuring down the way a bit. The on-site firewood and metal ring made for a nice cozy evening on the deck outside. The picnic table was a nice touch as well. The only suggestion I have is to somehow have/bring a small space heater of some sort to use overnight in these structures as it got pretty cold, even when I was there in September- The proximity to the water brings moisture and cold right through the simple structure’s walls. Thanks for the unique experience. You have a cool thing going here with the various camping/cabin/A-frame options on your beautiful property.
