The Villa San Tommaso is part of the Agriturismo San Tommaso and is located on the sunny side of a hill 200 m above sea level. The absolute protagonist is the view of the endless valley and the SUN that from morning to evening creates wonderful atmospheres of light until sunset with breathtaking scenery. The typical Tuscan countryside with its cultivated hills, olive groves and vineyards will immerse you in a relaxing dimension to enjoy the dolce vita together with your friends or relatives.
We are 2 km from the village of Pomarance with shops, restaurants and cafes and 30 km from the sea and in a central position with respect to the most important cities of art such as Siena, Florence, Pisa, Lucca. In about 30 minutes you can reach Volterra, Massa Marittima, San Gimignano and the most important wine cellars in Tuscany. Ideal for trekking, cycling and horse riding. We are in the unmistakable scenery of the Val di Cecina, a land of ancient villages and numerous oases and nature reserves that surround the immediate surroundings. Just a few kilometres away are the springs of the Cecina river with wonderful stretches of water for bathing and enjoying unspoilt nature.
The property is part of an organic farm that produces extra virgin olive oil and quality wine that can be tasted and purchased directly at the villa on request.
There are 2 separate and independent villas on the property, each with its own private surrounding garden with furnished terrace, barbecue and parking space. The pool is shared but each villa has its own private part with sun loungers. The villas can be booked together exclusively for larger groups.
The park surrounding the farmhouse covers about 11,000 square metres on a hilly area with cultivated fields, a large olive grove and a small vineyard. The garden contains evergreen lawn areas and a multitude of plants, cypresses and many olive trees, forming the ideal setting for savouring the atmosphere of Tuscany.
The 16 x 8 m swimming pool is fenced in and has a waterfall, a Jacuzzi, a paved beach for swimming and a private shaded area with deck chairs and sun loungers for each flat or villa. The pool is sanitised with chlorine and can also be used at night thanks to lighting both inside and outside the pool. It will be available from the first Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
The farmhouse can be reached by car to the flats and has a private car park for larger vehicles as well.
On request we can organise breakfasts, lunches, dinners or tastings of local products.
This is the main house of the San Tommaso farmhouse, surrounded by a large and evergreen fenced garden, playground, 3 barbecues and a very large terrace overlooking the valley, equipped with tables and deckchairs. Access is through a remote-controlled gate and parking is available inside near the flats.
In one of the flats there is a large living room with kitchen where you can all dine together, in front of a large evergreen garden terrace with a pergola and a large barbecue, ideal for getting together and spending pleasant moments with friends or relatives.
The Villa San Tommaso consists of 3 flats and 1 studio apartment, all on the ground floor. It has air conditioning in all rooms. The villa can accommodate up to 13 people (+ 4 additions). The swimming pool is shared but has a private part of the garden with deckchairs and sunbeds. There are 7 bedrooms in the villa (4 doubles and 3 rooms that can be used as triple, twin or double rooms if necessary) + 1 small room with a bunk bed for children, 4 bathrooms (each with shower, bidet, toilet, washbasin). All flats have a separate entrance to the garden and private covered area with table.
The Il Leccio flat is about 78 square metres with a living room-kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, sofa and extendable table, two double rooms, a small room with a bunk bed, a bathroom with full shower.
The flat Il Cipresso of about 70 square metres with living room kitchen, one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with 3 single beds, bathroom with shower.
One-room apartment Il Pino about 28 sq m with kitchenette, wood-burning fireplace, complete bathroom with shower.
The La Vite flat has a 50-square-metre living room with a large full kitchen, bar counter, table, sofa and armchairs for dining or getting together, with a garden terrace and separate entrance with a front garden, brazier and covered pergola with table. This has a 25 sq. m. room with a second independent entrance to the garden, a small room with 2 beds and a bathroom with shower.
The owner lives in the property and, in addition to taking care of the vineyard, the olive trees and the garden, is always available for any need.
In addition, our staff will be at your complete disposal 24 hours a day from arrival to departure and will provide you with all the information you need to make your holiday unforgettable.
