The home was built in 1909 by the Keidel family, who built the first hospital in Fredericksburg. Our mother bought this home in 2000 and the home has been restored to original condition as one of the most historic homes in Fredericksburg. The architecture is German, Victorian, Hill Country and all original aspects of the past remain, however, the modern comforts are present to enable guests to be comfortable in 2000 sq. ft. of exclusive space, owner's apartment excluded.Our location is 2 minutes from mainstreet downtown where wine tasting, restaurants, shopping, and night life entertainment are. abundant. The front yard is home to one of the largest oak trees in Fredericksburg to enhance a peaceful experience that is typical of the Hill Country.
